Tourism
The countryside is adorned with numerous charming
towns and villages where walls whisper of the past and
the ancient streets and buildings are waiting to be
explored. Last but not least, Ankaran has many
excellent wellness centres, hotels and casinos.

Languages & Population
The official language is Slovene, one of the Slavic family
of languages. In addition, Italian, Hungarian and German are also official languages in those parts of the country
with mixed populations.
